# Parameter Description

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Usage Notice:** All LoyalProxy proxy products must be operated in an overseas network environment. Please ensure that you have already configured the corresponding overseas network environment yourself.
{% endhint %}

This article demonstrates how to use `curl` to send requests through LoyalProxy static residential proxy IPs, suitable for calling proxy connections in a terminal or script.

Static residential proxies include two line types: **Native IP** and **Broadcast IP**. Both support username/password sub-account authentication, and the exit IP remains fixed during the connection.

> **Tip**: Before running the following commands, please replace `USERNAME`, `PASSWORD`, `PROXY_IP`, and `PROXY_PORT` with your actual proxy connection information.

**Using an HTTP Proxy**

```bash
curl -x http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@PROXY_IP:PROXY_PORT https://ipinfo.io
```

**Using a SOCKS5 Proxy**

```bash
curl --socks5 USERNAME:PASSWORD@PROXY_IP:PROXY_PORT https://ipinfo.io
```
